Practice Areas
David has a general commercial practice and is briefed on a wide range of disputes involving contractual, equitable and statutory remedies. He has broad experience in proceedings involving companies, superannuation funds, managed investment schemes, trusts, partnerships, directors and individuals.
He has particular expertise in relation to finance transactions and financial regulation and has appeared as junior counsel for APRA on several applications. He also appears in building and construction matters.
David trained at Allens (2011-2014) and later practised in London at Allen & Overy LLP (2015-2017). He returned to Australia and before being called to the Bar was a senior associate at Ashurst (2018-2020).
